1. Overview
C2 Chiseled ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
C2 Chiseled is a general wellness application and is NOT a HIPAA-covered entity. We do not collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:
- Profile data: Name, age, height, weight, fitness goals
- Wellness logs: Daily weight, steps, nutrition entries, energy and mood scores
- Workout data: Exercise logs, sets, reps, and weights
- GLP-1 logs: Medication dose, week number, side effects (general wellness tracking only)
- AI chat history: Conversations with the AI coach
- Consent records: Your digital signature, timestamp, and IP address when you agree to our terms
- Technical data: IP address, browser type (for security and fraud prevention)
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Medical records or clinical health data
- Social Security numbers or government IDs
- Payment or financial information
- Precise GPS location
- Contacts or photos from your device
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and personalize your wellness tracking experience
- Generate AI coaching responses based on your logged data
- Create your personalized AI workout plan
- Maintain your account and wellness history
- Ensure platform security and prevent unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations
5. How We Share Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:
- Anthropic (AI provider): Your chat messages and profile data are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate coaching responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Railway (hosting): Your data is stored on Railway's infrastructure. Railway's privacy policy applies.
- Resend (email): Your email address is used to send access codes and notifications.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure PostgreSQL database with access controls
- Environment variable protection for API keys and passwords
- Unique user IDs to separate data between users
No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your wellness data within 30 days. Consent records (your agreement to our terms) are retained permanently for legal protection.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Correction: Update inaccurate information through your profile settings
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy
C2 Chiseled is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
10. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
11. Cookies & Local Storage
C2 Chiseled uses browser local storage (not cookies) to store your access code, consent timestamp, and session preferences. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except as part of normal app functionality.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
